What We Believe
Connecting People to God and Others…
At Church at the Gateway, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and we use it as our guide for faith and practice. We believe that the way to true joy and peace is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that He led a sinless life, one where He walked among many and loved all. We believe He loved us so much that His death on the cross served as redemption for our sins. He’s given us the ultimate gift — eternal life with Him.
Quite simply, Jesus Christ is the center of our ministry. We focus on developing a personal relationship with Him, one where he accepts our faults, forgives our sins, and inspires us to live life the way He commanded.
God knows that we are not perfect, but He loves us anyway. He loves us so much that He gave His only son to pay for our sins. All He asks is that we believe, we have faith, and we wait patiently doing His good work and living a godly life until Jesus Christ, who rose on the third day so many years ago, will one day return in all His power and glory.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. ~Romans 10:10
